A refresh shouldn’t quietly change the numbers your team relies on. norami checks each one before it reaches an answer.

  • On a schedule you set

    Hourly, daily or when you ask. norami answers from its synced copy, and every answer shows how fresh that copy is.

  • Read-only, end to end

    Read-only sessions over TLS and credentials encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The AI model never queries your database or sees its credentials.

  • Held when it looks wrong

    A refresh that empties a dataset, shrinks it below half or changes its columns waits for someone on your team to approve it.

Which databases can norami connect to?

Postgres-family databases today: PostgreSQL itself and hosted Postgres such as Supabase, Amazon RDS and Neon. Database connections are available on Team plans and up. Data in other databases can come in as a file export.

Does norami connect directly to our ERP?

Not with a native connector. Export the report you already use to Excel or CSV and upload it, and norami answers from it like any other dataset. When a new export comes in, the same questions pick up the new numbers.

How fresh is the data behind an answer?

As fresh as its last update. A connected database syncs hourly, daily or when you ask, and a file is as current as its last upload. Every answer shows when its data was last updated.

Can norami change the data in our systems?

No. Database connections open read-only sessions over TLS, and norami copies rows on the schedule you set. Answers come from that copy, so the AI model never queries your database or sees its credentials.

What happens if a refresh looks wrong?

It waits for review instead of reaching anyone. A refresh that empties a dataset or shrinks it below half is held, and so is a sync that changes a table's columns. Until someone approves it, answers keep using the last good copy.

What about PDFs, contracts and other documents?

Document and contract libraries are set up with you on managed plans. Business systems that offer an API, such as booking or sales platforms, are connected by our team too.
